Alberta inquiry opened in Medicine Hat on June 10, 1907, and sittings were also held in Lethbridge, Cardston, Macleod, High River, Calgary, Gleichen, Innisfail, Red Deer, Lacombe, Erskine, Wetaskiwin, Edmonton, Vegreville, and Vermilion, concluding July 22, 1907. Alberta edition of the report not located. The only edition located is the one tabled in the Manitoba Legislative Assembly as its Sessional Paper 5 of 1908.

Description: Alberta Royal Commission on the Alberta Great Waterways Railway Company Report. Not dated. Signed by N.D. Beck Chairman. Tabled in the Legislative Assembly November 10, 1910. Printed with no title page, as Commission [. . .] to enquire "Whether any, and if any, which officer, or officers of the Government or member or members of the Legislature of the Province were or are interested, either directly or indirectly, by themselves or through others, in the erection, incorporation, or organization of the Alberta and Great Waterways Railway Company [. . .]" By his signing the report, it is taken that N.D. Beck is the Chairman. Inquiry opened in Edmonton March 29, 1910, resumed April 14 in Edmonton, and continued later in Winnipeg and Toronto and Edmonton again. Evidence extends to 3,225 pages with 255 exhibits.
